Argentina Ready To Take On The Aussies

The clash between Argentina and Australia in the Rugby championship will be hosted at Twickenham.

Pumas would be hosting the Wallabies in what promises to be a repeat of the semi final match as seen in the Rugby World Cup. This venue would also stand testimony to a championship test being played outside the competing countries. If you revisit the semifinal win in Australia last October over Argentina, you will find David Pocock beating Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe. It was definitely a thrilling moment for all fans of world rugby.

With the Argentina and Australian teams ready for a test match as part of the Rugby championship, Twickenham will prove to be a different venue for both teams. The tournament has been organized by Sanzaar. It was confirmed to be held on 8th October, a Saturday which is a date when the fixture will make history and hold a match outside of the familiar venues in South Africa, New Zealand, Argentina and Australia.

Argentina has upped preparations for this match to overcome the defeat they suffered last year. At that time Adam Ashley Cooper had beaten Argentina with a hat trick. The score stood at 29-15 in the semi final of the Rugby World Cup. With the score the Australian team achieved, Argentina could not save themselves a chance of facing New Zealand in the finals.

This upcoming game is being considered as a home fixture for the Argentinian team. It will help conclude the competition for this year, which will start on 20th August. It would incorporate venues like Buenos Aires, Brisbane, Wellington and Sydney. Incidentally, it would be the same ground where Australia defeated Argentina. Hence, the latter would surely look forward for a chance to redeem themselves in the eyes of their fans.
